How to Apply
Wildflower is dedicated to serving children and families who have experienced the loss of a parent. By providing the gift of camp and enrichment opportunities for children, as well as consistent support and respite for parents, families are able to strengthen their resilience and create positive opportunities for the future.
Wildflower will consider applications from families in the Greater Boston area for children of camp age (typically 5 – 18 years of age). Families may submit applications for multiple children. A financial need assessment is required; however, special circumstances are considered. A recent 1040 will be requested during the application process and must be submitted prior to acceptance. Families will also be asked to provide the name and contact information of a reference, such as a therapist, guidance counselor, clergy member, who can provide supporting information about your circumstances.
Scholarships are provided for general summer camps (both day and overnight), athletic and educational camps, and other enrichment programs. Children may attend a camp of their own choosing. Camp placement assistance is available to Wildflower campers, as needed.
